As a proud Maine Coon parent myself I couldn’t help but fall down the rabbit hole (or should I say cat tree) of discovering the biggest, most famous Maine Coons in the world.
I’m talking about cats whose size and fluff have catapulted them to global fame. So, let’s explore the colossal giants of the feline world, ranked by their popularity, size, and personality.

1. Stewie: A Legendary Giant
Stewie was a gray tabby Maine Coon – his full name was Mymains Stewart Gilligan. He held the record as the largest and longest Maine Coon cat in the world. After Stewie’s passing in 2013, Barivel took the title, measuring 47.2 inches.
